A new great #GridSmash for a Talking Picture
🛒😍Ingredients to gather: Headliner App, Canva, Garageband (or author audio recording app like Soundtrap) and Flipgrid. 😍
Final Product: A talking picture with cool graphics like the one shown here.
🛒👩🍳🙌 Time to have all ingredients ready: You will need both a graphic and sound file to get started.👩🍳🙌🛒 There is a video tutorial below to help you get started.
✅ First Ingredient: Graphic File
First you need a graphic. I am a big fan of Canva for many reasons. It is a simple to use program that allows you to make beautiful graphics easily with little to no graphic design background. Also it was co-founded by a woman out of Australia and well that just makes me happy.
For more information on Canva check out this post.
✅ Next Ingredient: Sound File
After you have made the graphic – its time to record your sound. Because I have a Mac I used Garageband to record a simple audio track and then saved that to my desktop. I could use my phone and Audio Recorder to get the sound file if needed. I save that to my desktop..
Now you are to mix up an awesome talking graphic.
- Open Headliner app
- Sign-up for a free account
- Choose AudioGram option
- Upload your sound file and turn off Audio Transcription
- Listen to make sure sound file is what you would like then click next
- Choose your Aspect Ratio – this depends on where you will show it – I choose their default one.
- Next you select Add Background Image and this is where you add your Canva image – the one that will “talk”
- You can also select how you want your sound to look on the image – select from nine different styles by choosing “Wave Type” and then “Wave Position”
- Next, Create Project – you can either wait for it to create and then download or it will send a copy to your mailbox.
Viola that is it.
Here is a video on how to do it!
Next step add these to Flipgrid for a sick #GridSmash
