Do you want to get your learning on? In an easy way – so simple you can do it in your car on the way to work? Podcasts are the perfect learning tool! I must say that I am a little obsessed with podcasts and can’t get enough of them. To help educators stay up to date with some of the great choices out there – here is a list curated with the help of my Twitter and FB friends. I have listened to every one of the podcasts to vet them – and they are ALL amazing! We start with the top five people seem to love the most, some other great and inspirational choices and then three non-educator podcasts I personally can’t live without.
The Top Five
I especially like episode 41 😉

Jennifer Gonzalez interviews educators, students, administrators and parents about the psychological and social dynamics of school, trade secrets, and other juicy things you’ll never learn in a textbook.
Join student and teacher hosts, Don Wettrick and Hunter Stone, as they interview experts in education, innovation and entrepreneurship while discussing how anyone has the power to change the world and live life to the fullest.

Three Podcast I can’t live without
Have fun discovering the hidden side of everything with host Stephen J. Dubner, co-author of the best-selling “Freakonomics” books. Each week, hear surprising conversations that explore the riddles of everyday life and the weird wrinkles of human nature—from cheating and crime to parenting and sports. Dubner talks with Nobel laureates and provocateurs, social scientists and entrepreneurs — and his “Freakonomics” co-author Steve Levitt. After just a few episodes, this podcast will have you too thinking like a Freak.
Revisionist History is Malcolm Gladwell’s journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea, even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time. From Panoply Media. Because sometimes the past deserves a second chance.
