A Sneak Peek into Inquiry for Younger Learners

I am super excited to share with you all a new project one of our EdTechTeam Press best-selling authors has been busy creating.  Trevor MacKenzie, author of the oh-so-popular Dive into Inquiry:Amplify Learning and Empower Student Voice has partnered up with one of the most creative and caring kindergarten teachers I know, Rebecca Bathurst-Hunt, to bring something game-changing to your classroom!  Here’s a sneak peek of the cover of their soon-to-be released book Inquiry Mindset: Nurturing the Dreams, Wonders and Curiosities of Our Youngest Learners.

Trevor and Rebecca gave me an exclusive look at Inquiry Mindset and believe me, it is powerful stuff!  I cannot wait for the release and to see this book get into the hands of educators to truly impact learning in their classrooms.

Inquiry Mindset is jam-packed with accessible and actionable ideas that will inspire both you and your students!  Written by teachers for teachers Trevor and Rebecca share their expertise in:

… how to empower your learners, increase engagement, and accelerate achievement

… how to harness the wonders and curiosities of your students and leverage these into powerful and meaningful learning opportunities

… how to cultivate an inquiry mindset both as a teacher and in your students!

… how to adopt an inquiry approach in your classroom that doesn’t result in “free time” but rather the most authentic and inspiring learning you’ve ever experienced!

To celebrate the release of Inquiry Mindset Trevor and Rebecca have a bunch of cool stuff planned that they’re sharing on their newsletter.  Join the community and stay tuned for more exclusive content here.  I can’t wait!

Check back Thursday for an interview with Trevor about the “why” behind the book.
